About the Role
At ICEF, the role of a teacher extends beyond instruction; it is a commitment to building a culture of community and success that grows and persists. You will be a results-driven educator dedicated to empowering students to fulfill their dreams. We equip our teachers with essential resources, including curriculum maps, a comprehensive repository of instructional materials and videos, interim assessments, item banks, individualized coaching, and weekly professional development to implement innovative strategies.
You will create a joyful, safe, and structured classroom environment where high expectations drive a community of learners. Your day will involve executing assigned curriculum to reach every student regardless of background, collaborating with teacher teams to prepare rigorous lesson plans, and building trusting relationships with students and families. You will model our school values, communicate proactively with parents, and work closely with colleagues to support differentiated learning needs.
Hiring Process
We are looking for educators who are passionate about bringing our mission to life. If you are interested in becoming a teacher, we offer the Alder Residency Program, allowing you to earn a teaching credential in just one year. Please review our credential requirements carefully; candidates must hold or be on a clear pathway to obtaining a valid California single subject teaching credential in Biology and an English Learner Authorization.
