The College of the Canyons is seeking Adjunct Biology Instructors to join our dynamic faculty. This position is part of a continuous recruitment pool open on a fiscal year basis, allowing for assignments at the Valencia or Canyon Country campuses, or other college teaching locations as needed.
As an adjunct faculty member, you will have the opportunity to assist a diverse group of students in achieving their educational goals across transfer, general education, vocational, and occupational programs. The role offers flexible hours and the chance to contribute to a collaborative college community while shaping the next generation of biologists and scientists.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis for immediate and future eligibility into the Biological Sciences Applicant Pool. Positions remain open until filled, and the department may review materials at any time based on enrollment needs.
To be considered, all required documents must be received. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Hiring committees evaluate complete, qualified application packets; possession of minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview. Selected candidates may be required to participate in a teaching demonstration.
