About the Role
The Elanco Elwood, Kansas facility was acquired from Kindred Biosciences in 2021, offering a strong pipeline of innovative drugs for companion animals within the monoclonal antibody space. Working at this monoclonal antibody start-up facility presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research. Monoclonal antibodies are an innovative type of biologic drug that can target specific molecules in the body to treat a variety of diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. Working at a start-up facility developing these drugs is an opportunity to be on the forefront of medical research and contribute to developing treatments that can have a significant impact on pets' lives.
In this role, you will perform and document all tasks and activities associated with biologics manufacturing at our Elwood facility. You will be part of a team executing core manufacturing processes, maintaining cGMP compliance in a regulated environment, and supporting equipment preparation and process improvements.
Shift Details
This role operates on a 12-hour shift schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, including every other weekend. Further details about the specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process. Please note that weekend work carries a 4% premium, and work outside of your scheduled shift hours carries a 10% premium.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or equivalent
- verifiedProficient in basic computer skills (Windows/Microsoft Office)
- verifiedMust be able to wear appropriate gowning and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Nice to Have
Associate or Bachelor's degree in a biomanufacturing related discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry, engineering). Experience in a regulated, commercial GMP biomanufacturing environment (including media and buffer preparation, cell culture, fermentation, aseptic processing, chromatography, TFF, final formulation, and fill/finish). Understanding of USDA, FDA, and EU GMP regulatory standards for veterinary biologics. Good mechanical aptitude.
