The Billing Clerk serves as a key support member within the Accounts Receivable department, responsible for reviewing, processing, and coordinating claims. This role requires operating in a fast-paced, multi-tasking medical billing environment where independence and efficiency are paramount.
In this position, you will utilize professional telephone skills to interact with patients and providers. A significant portion of the day involves resolving patient issues in a courteous, professional, thorough, and timely manner. This includes researching and resubmitting claims as necessary to ensure accurate accounts receivable management. Success in this role depends on the ability to quickly learn and operate a variety of software programs while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Qualified candidates with a High School Diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply. Prior medical billing experience is preferred but not required for those demonstrating strong aptitude and a willingness to learn.
