We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support a construction contractor based in Spokane Valley, Washington. This is a part-time contract position offering approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for a candidate who excels at managing invoicing accuracy and maintaining steady payment activity.
The Role
In this fast-paced office setting, you will serve as the backbone of the billing cycle. Your day will involve preparing and distributing customer invoices with precision, monitoring incoming payments, and maintaining up-to-date billing records. You will act as the first line of defense for outstanding balances, supporting collection activities and resolving discrepancies before submission. Success in this role requires confidence working with computerized billing tools and the ability to coordinate seamlessly with internal team members to ensure all charges, statements, and payment activities are properly documented.
