The Best Execution Analyst plays a critical role in upholding the firm's commitment to reasonable diligence and favorable client outcomes. This position works under the direction of Best Execution Managers and the Best Execution & Controls Team Leader to apply SEC, FINRA, MSRB, and CIRO rules through technical and analytical means.
In this role, you will review trading data across Equity, Options, and Fixed Income products to assess execution quality. You will produce execution-quality analysis and communicate findings that support firm standards. Your work involves extracting, cleansing, and manipulating large trading datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. You will create clear, data-driven narratives to communicate execution outcomes to Trading and Best Execution stakeholders, providing actionable insights that support trading decisions.
You will also prepare and maintain execution-quality reports used for supervisory purposes, support regulatory exams and audits, and drive improvements to the firm's best execution processes and controls. This role is essential for ensuring we source the best possible prices and assess execution quality effectively.
This position is currently open to internal applicants only. Current home-based associates selected for this role may retain their home-based status, though the role is posted as hybrid. Future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
Candidates living within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026. Before June 1, 2026, those candidates are expected to work in the office three days per week, with a preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
