About the Role
Based in the South Bay area, the company is seeking a Bench Mechanic to join their team. In this role, you will work with general supervision to plan, layout, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal parts, equipment, and products. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the sequence and methods of fabrication and assembly. Your day-to-day tasks will include removing burrs and sharp edges using various hand tools and operating specialized equipment such as countersinks, grinding wheels, burring rolls, bench grinders, rotary files, drill presses, and jitterbugs. Success in this position requires mechanical aptitude, common sense, and a commitment to adhering to company policies and procedures.

Employment Details
This is a Temp-to-Hire position with a pay range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
