At ABS Kids, our purpose is found in the "wow moments" our clients experience each day as they learn new skills and reach new goals. We are empowered by the breadth of our differences, committed to creating a culture where all people thrive because their diverse stories are heard and celebrated. Our mission to support children with autism spectrum disorder and their families feeds our spirit, and with every milestone, we see our impact grow.
As a Behavior Technician, you will join a team dedicated to making a difference in the life of a child. Your day will involve teaching kids while playing, following a treatment plan specific to each child, and helping them learn essential life skills such as motor, social, and emotional skills. You will observe, play, and collect data to write progress notes, working on goals that help shape challenging behaviors into communication skills.\n This role is ideal for someone with lots of energy who is playful, creative, and able to think on their feet. You will work independently to provide the best quality care using evidence-based methods grounded in science. The position offers a clear career path with milestones, rewards, and opportunities to learn transferable skills that open doors to great careers in behavior health.
We are looking for candidates who are dependable and tech-savvy, comfortable learning our data collection software and using Microsoft Office 365. If you have prior paid experience working with kids (such as camp counseling, daycare, or ABA) and a desire to learn, we encourage you to apply.
