The completion of Birmingham's I-59/20 Central Business District (CBD) Interstate bridges has revitalized the space underneath the structures, known as CityWalk BHAM. Spanning 10 city blocks from 15th St N to 25th St N, this nearly mile-long, 31-acre outdoor destination is designed to reconnect the city and serve as a common area open to all citizens. As a CityWalk Bartender, you will be the face of hospitality in this unique outdoor social space. This role is essential for creating a positive, welcoming, and memorable bar experience for guests attending events. You will work largely outdoors, navigating a fast-paced environment that is regularly exposed to wet and humid conditions.
Your day will involve preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, offering informed drink recommendations, and highlighting daily specials. Beyond mixing drinks, you will ensure the bar area remains clean, well-stocked, and compliant with all health and safety regulations. This is a non-tipped position that requires you to monitor guest needs, manage inventory, and maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with the public.

Minimum of one (1) year related knowledge, experience, and skills in the restaurant industry, preferably as a bartender. Outdoor restaurant or venue experience is highly preferred. High School Diploma or G.E.D, preferred.
