About the Role

This position is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to ensure customers return. You will treat customers and employees in a fair and ethical manner, promoting an inclusive work environment and acting as a responsible member of the community. Your goal is to provide the right products at the right time with fair and accurate pricing while demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

In this role, you will create an environment where customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated. You will answer questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store, gaining and maintaining knowledge of our offerings to make helpful suggestions. You will collaborate with associates to promote teamwork and help achieve company and store goals.

Your day-to-day will involve preparing beverage selections to recipe and standards, tendering transactions using company best practices, and offering product samples to help customers discover new items. You will ensure customers receive fresh products in the correct portion sizes, recommend coffee shop items, and utilize equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens, espresso machines, and blenders according to company guidelines. Additionally, you will label, stock, and inventory department merchandise, check product quality, and stay current with seasonal and special ads.
