The Banquet Chef at the W Scottsdale serves as the culinary anchor for our banquet operations, working in close collaboration with both Back of House (BOH) and Front of House (FOH) teams. This role is designed to lead, organize, and execute all food service for our high-volume banquet events, ensuring that every guest experience reflects the hotel's commitment to excellence.
As the primary liaison for hotel operating leaders regarding events, you will navigate the dynamic needs of multiple departments, including Sales, Marketing, and the Banquets team. Your day-to-day involves orchestrating kitchen operations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless communication regarding product changes and pricing. Beyond execution, you will foster a culture of quality and consistency, developing the skillsets of hourly staff while maintaining rigorous adherence to corporate standards and local health regulations.
