About the Role
As a Bankruptcy and Probate Specialist, you will be a vital link in our commitment to doing the right thing for our customers and colleagues. In this role, you will operate under moderate supervision to collect and document complex accounts involving bankruptcy, deceased estates, and insurance claims. Your work ensures the timely and compliant handling of consumer loans, lines, and credit cards through various bankruptcy chapters (7, 11, 12, or 13) from the initial notice through final court clearance.
You will be responsible for initiating internal processes, communicating with successors and attorneys, and assigning accounts to outside vendors for representation. This position requires a proactive approach to risk management, where you will identify, assess, and report risks while ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and district bankruptcy laws. By conducting thorough research and maintaining accurate data in bank systems, you will help drive a positive customer experience and ensure the bank meets its departmental goals.
