About Year Up United
Year Up United is an intensive, one-year or less job training program designed to empower young adults. We provide in-classroom skill development, access to internships, job placement services, and personalized coaching and mentorship through four unique career pathways. Participants also receive an educational stipend to support their journey.
About the Customer Experience Pathway
If you are passionate about building relationships or possess an entrepreneurial mindset and are looking to gain exposure to running a business, the Customer Experience job training pathway could be the right fit for you. This pathway combines technical and professional training in Banking or Customer Success, offering access to internships and job placement support through our industry-leading talent placement firm, YUPRO Placement. Internships may be hosted at leading organizations in the Providence area, such as JPMorganChase or Bank of America.
What You Will Gain
Participants will acquire product and service knowledge, a customer-centric mindset, comprehensive finance training, and professional business and communication skills. The program also covers interviewing and networking skills, resume building, and provides ongoing support and guidance to help launch your career. During the internship phase, students earn an educational stipend of $525 per week.
