About the Role
As an Airport Ramp Agent at Unifi Aviation, you will be the vital link between the aircraft and the ground, ensuring safe and efficient operations at Lihue Airport. In this full-time, non-exempt position, you will work across A.M. and P.M. shifts to load, unload, and service customer aircraft while safeguarding baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather, loss, theft, and damage.
Your day-to-day involves operating motorized equipment such as belt loaders, pushback tugs, and deicers, as well as manually handling heavy cargo and passenger baggage. You will coordinate closely with Wing Walkers during pushback operations and maintain visual contact to ensure safety. Beyond physical tasks, you will be responsible for recording and transporting cargo, completing necessary paperwork, and entering data into the company's information system.
