As an Airport Ramp Agent with Unifi Aviation, you serve as the vital link between the aircraft and the ground, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of passengers, baggage, and cargo at Lihue Airport. This full-time position is essential to maintaining the operational integrity of American Airlines flights, requiring you to work in a fast-paced environment where safety and precision are paramount.
Your day-to-day responsibilities involve a dynamic mix of physical activity and equipment operation. You will be responsible for loading and unloading aircraft, guiding planes to their gates, and managing the transport of mail and freight. Whether operating motorized equipment like belt loaders and pushback tugs or manually handling heavy cargo, your focus remains on safeguarding items from weather, loss, or damage while adhering to strict safety protocols.
This role demands physical stamina and adaptability. You will work in various weather conditions, often outdoors on the tarmac, and may be required to work in cramped spaces or climb stairs to access aircraft. The position involves frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting items weighing up to 70 pounds or more. Shifts are scheduled for both A.M. and P.M. rotations to support flight operations.

Full-time employees enjoy competitive pay with daily access to earned wages, paid holidays, and paid time off. We provide comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) plan featuring a company match. Additionally, team members and their families gain access to exclusive flight benefits and travel privileges.
