About the Role
We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust data solutions within our hybrid NYC team. In this position, you will be the architect behind our data infrastructure, responsible for developing ETL processes, optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring the highest standards of data quality and security. Your work will directly support scalable data architectures that drive analytics and business intelligence across the organization.
Day in the Life
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions. Your day-to-day involves hands-on work with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake to build and maintain ETL pipelines. You will also create insightful reports and visualizations using Power BI, while ensuring that all data operations adhere to strict security protocols and governance frameworks. From managing identity and access to implementing data lineage and metadata management, you will play a critical role in securing our serverless architectures and maintaining data privacy compliance.
Hiring Process
Candidates with a Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate certification are required to proceed. The selection process focuses on verifying hands-on experience with Azure services, SQL proficiency, and the ability to design secure, scalable data solutions.
