We are seeking an experienced AWS Lead Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team in Newark, NJ. As a technical leader, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing scalable data solutions on AWS. This role is designed to provide technical guidance to a team of data engineers while collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure best practices in cloud data engineering.
In this position, you will lead the design and optimization of large-scale, reliable, and secure data pipelines and data lake architecture. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable and maintainable solutions. Your day-to-day will involve overseeing the migration of data from legacy systems to AWS-based data lakes and warehouses, while driving the adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices within the team.
This is a C2C (Contract-to-Contract) opportunity based in Newark City, NJ. Candidates are required to work from the NJ office as part of this hybrid arrangement.
