We are seeking a Senior/Lead AWS Data Architect to drive enterprise data modernization within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. This role is critical for designing scalable, cloud-native data architectures that seamlessly integrate Guidewire platforms with modern AWS analytics ecosystems. You will serve as a technical leader, bridging the gap between complex insurance business processes—such as underwriting, claims, policy administration, and billing—and robust, high-performance data solutions.
In this position, you will not only architect data lakes and warehouses but also define the governance, security, and quality frameworks that ensure data integrity across the organization. Your work will directly enable digital transformation initiatives, supporting advanced analytics, AI/ML, and actuarial data needs while leading the migration of legacy on-premise applications to the AWS cloud.
You will join a team focused on evolving the core data infrastructure for P&C insurance operations. The mission is to create a resilient, scalable data foundation that empowers business stakeholders with real-time insights while maintaining strict compliance with industry regulations. As a lead architect, you will collaborate closely with enterprise architects, engineering teams, and business leaders to shape the future of our data landscape.
This is a local role based in either Phoenix, AZ or Plano, TX. Candidates must reside within 30 miles of the specified location to ensure effective on-site collaboration and engagement with the team.
