About the Role
As a Java Development Lead, you will play a vital role in leading the team through design, architecture, and implementation of solutions. You will collaborate with an ever-evolving company to build technology products that scale and perform at high speed. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCollaborate with Product Management and Platform Engineering teams to iteratively refine products
- check_circleProvide guidance to product teams to ensure compliance with standards and best practices
- check_circleWork with team members to design and implement solutions across geographic locations
- check_circleLead the design and architecture of solutions to meet business requirements and enable rapid innovation
- check_circleDesign and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery processes for application deployment
- check_circleMaintain hands-on technical knowledge of modern software development trends and cloud-native activities
- check_circleImplement security measures using Elliptical Curve Cryptography, RSA, and AES algorithms for data protection
- check_circlePerform technology alternate assessments and create proofs-of-concept as necessary
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree with 5+ years IT experience OR High School diploma with 8+ years IT experience
- verified5+ years software development experience (Spring/Java, ReactJS, RDBMS, NoSQL)
- verified2+ years systems automation and integration experience
- verifiedAbility to travel for business
- verifiedMust be 18 years or older
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedLegal authorization to work in the U.S.
- verifiedWillingness to take drug test, background investigation, and submit fingerprints
Nice to Have
Experience in agile methodology and/or using lean techniques. Sound experience in building systems that can protect data using strong encryption/tokenization algorithms. Minimum 2 years of experience with Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, and/or other Continuous Integration tools. Recent experience with design and implementation of products on cloud and Micro services based eco-systems and Application modernization. Experience in building products for application monitoring and resiliency. Experience working with SAML, OAuth2, Active Directory and network protocols. Experience with implementing data caching and in-memory technologies at scale.
