About the Role
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated AV Infrastructure Analyst for a full-time position. This role is critical to ensuring the operational excellence of AV technologies that support mission-critical transit operations at WMATA facilities. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and managing the lifecycle of enterprise audiovisual systems across control rooms, conference rooms, operations centers, training facilities, and executive briefing environments.
In this position, you will ensure high availability and seamless integration with IT and network infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the reliability of video walls, conferencing solutions, digital signage, and control systems, ensuring they align with enterprise IT standards and cybersecurity policies. You will serve as a key liaison between AV systems and broader network, security, and collaboration ecosystems, bridging the gap between technical infrastructure and the people who rely on it daily.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign and deploy AV systems including video walls, conferencing solutions, and digital signage
- check_circleLead installation, configuration, and commissioning of enterprise audiovisual solutions
- check_circleProvide Tier 2/3 support for AV incidents and service requests via ServiceNow
- check_circleIntegrate AV systems with network infrastructure, VoIP, and collaboration tools like Teams and Zoom
- check_circleOversee firmware updates, patches, and hardware lifecycle strategies for AV assets
- check_circleCoordinate with AV vendors and integrators to ensure SLAs and project deliverables are met
- check_circleCreate system diagrams, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for documentation
- check_circleTrain end-users and support staff on AV systems and operational procedures
- check_circleDevelop AV architecture aligned with enterprise IT standards and cybersecurity policies
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in IT, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

- verifiedExperience with Crestron, Extron, or Cisco collaboration endpoints
- verifiedStrong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS)

Nice to Have
AVIXA CTS certification. Experience in transportation or government environments. Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, Zero Trust). Experience supporting command centers, NOCs, or SOCs.
