About the Role

As an Automotive Technician, you will be the backbone of our service operations, responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles. You will work in a dynamic environment where you handle everything from brake jobs and suspension components to alignments, front-end parts, and preventive maintenance. Your work ensures that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the strict MAP guidelines, as well as dealership, manufacturer, and Plaza Tire Automotive standards.

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a shop environment exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, and petroleum products. Temperatures can vary significantly, ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold depending on the season. Safety is paramount; the use of safety goggles and other personal protective equipment (PPE) is often required. Physically, you will be on your feet for up to eight hours a day, frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling. The role requires the ability to lift and move objects up to 70 pounds and possess the vision necessary to detect color, depth, and focus.
