About the Role

As a Technician at Hendrick Acura, you will be responsible for identifying necessary vehicle service and performing the repair, service, and maintenance work required to keep our customers' vehicles running safely and efficiently. You will examine customer vehicles, estimate repair costs, and perform services according to dealership and manufacturer guidelines. This role is critical to maintaining our high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) standards and ensuring a seamless experience for every client.

In this position, you will utilize available technologies to enhance the customer experience while maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work area. You will be expected to participate in required training, including manufacturer fundamental training for warranty repairs, recalls, PDI's, and minor repairs. Your work will involve the safe operation of power tools and test equipment, often in environments that may include noise, vibration, and exhaust fumes. You will frequently interact with customers, service advisors, and the service manager to communicate effectively and present information clearly.

Hiring Process

To perform this job successfully, candidates must possess a valid driver's license and relevant certifications, such as a state inspection/emissions license and manufacturer-specific credentials. Hendrick provides all required manufacturer fundamental training and NAPA training. We look for individuals with demonstrable mechanical skills, thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems, and the ability to meet or exceed manufacturer requirements for ASE tests.
