The Automotive ADAS Technician serves as a dedicated Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group, working in close alignment with all team members. This role is central to the service experience, combining technical expertise with exceptional customer interaction. You will be responsible for vehicle testing, repair, and the generation of service invoices, while maintaining strict inventory control and ensuring service vehicle maintenance.
Your day-to-day involves determining testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviewing repair estimates. You will perform diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations, and wiring repairs, while advising the shop on necessary actions. Beyond the technical work, you will manage inventory by communicating with support staff for orders and verifying receipts, as well as writing, printing, and emailing service invoices. You will also handle the collection of signatures or payments for work performed and ensure completed invoices and payments are delivered to the office in an orderly manner.
Additionally, you will keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, and advising management of repairs. Keeping our Google Drive up to date and collaborating with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule and complete jobs are also key parts of your responsibilities.
