This position serves as an ATG/IAS/OPS/GVS Automation Technician within the Intelligence & Security division. Working independently or in small teams, you will perform critical testing and maintenance functions on Automatic Tank Gauging Systems, Independent Alarm Systems, Overfill Protection Systems, and Ground Verification Systems. Your work ensures the proper operation of fuels accounting, alarm monitoring, and leak detection equipment at Department of Defense installations across the United States and OCONUS locations.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing electronic components and electrical systems. Beyond technical execution, the role involves coordinating travel to customer sites, managing on-hand components and safety equipment, and maintaining thorough communication with dispatchers, managers, and installation teams to ensure schedules are met. You will also compile and reconcile travel charging weekly. This is a highly mobile role requiring extensive travel to perform preventive and corrective maintenance and installation efforts.

This position is covered by the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA), with wages determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis. Four years of experience performing installation, removal, maintenance, and testing on Fuel Handling components (gauges, instrumentation, and sensors). Experience with Government fuel accounting systems (AFHE, FMD, FAS, BSM-E, ATG). Experience with Automatic Tank Gauging Systems (Veeder-Root, Ronan, Enraf, Barton, Pneumercator, Temposonics/MTS, ProGauge, E&H). Experience with Independent Alarm Systems (Scully, Magnetrol, E&H, Fafnir, Mercoid, Omnitrol, Pneumecator, TLC, Bindicator, Devar, Aggressive Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers). Experience with Overfill Protection or Ground Verification Systems (Scully, Varec, Fafnir, Programmable Logic Controllers). Experience with data communications via copper wires, fiber optics, and wireless devices.
