About the Role
The Counter Sales Level 2 position is designed to be the energetic face of the store, providing friendly, over-the-counter direct sales and taking orders both in-person and by phone. This role is pivotal in supporting overall store operations while going the extra mile to promote sales programs and foster a team-oriented environment. You will serve as a knowledgeable partner to customers, offering recommendations on aftermarket automotive replacement parts, heavy-duty components, auto and industrial paint, and body shop supplies. Beyond individual sales, this role may involve mentoring junior Counter Salespersons and Delivery Drivers, helping to guide the next generation of store associates.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide friendly over-the-counter sales and take orders in-person and by phone
- check_circlePrioritize delivery items and assign deliveries to drivers when applicable
- check_circleMentor junior counter sales staff and delivery drivers as needed
- check_circleOpen and close the store if assigned key holder responsibilities
- check_circleAssist manager with end-of-day processing tasks
- check_circleResearch part availability, stock numbers, inventory status, and pricing via computer and catalogs
- check_circleAssist customers in determining parts needed and offer solutions to automotive problems
- check_circleHandle cash and credit transactions, invoice customer accounts, and process returns
- check_circleMaintain store cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and removing trash inside and outside
- check_circleLocate, pull, check in, and organize stock including straightening and dusting inventory areas
Requirements
