Sharecare is a digital healthcare company dedicated to delivering software and tech-enabled services to stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. Our mission is to help improve care quality, drive better outcomes, and lower costs through data-driven AI insights, evidence-based resources, and a comprehensive platform. We enable health plan sponsors, health systems, physician practices, and pharmaceutical brands to drive personalized and value-based care at scale.
The Audit Fulfillment Program is the backbone of our medical records operations, tasked with tracking, retrieving, and delivering timely, accurate medical record sets to high-volume institutional requestors. This position exists to ensure that every release of information request is processed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and customer service.
In this role, you will be the guardian of patient privacy, ensuring that only authorized individuals access medical information and that all releases strictly comply with HIPAA regulations, company policies, and specific request authorizations. Your day-to-day involves managing complex release of information requests, including specialized retrieval projects for health plan and CMS campaigns such as HEDIS, DRG, Risk Adjustment, Payment Integrity, and RAC audits. You will review external audit requests, validate requirements, and maintain up-to-date credentials for assigned client locations. Beyond technical execution, you will perform rigorous quality checks to assure completeness and accuracy, while providing attentive, proactive customer service to resolve client concerns.
Qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, age, disability, genetic information, or protected veteran status. Sharecare is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an E-Verify user.
We foster a culture of integrity and efficiency. As a team member, you are expected to work with privileged information in a conscientious manner, maintaining confidentiality and security at all times. We value self-motivated individuals who are collaborative team players, capable of multi-tasking and adapting quickly to new equipment and processes. Whether working remotely or supporting client locations, you will contribute to a clean, orderly, and professional work environment.
