We are seeking an Audiology Assistant to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. This part-time role is essential to supporting the audiology department in providing high-quality patient care. You will serve as a vital link between audiologists and patients, performing hearing screenings, troubleshooting hearing technology, and managing administrative duties across all assigned satellite locations.
In this position, you will assist audiologists in testing infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and adolescents. Your day will involve completing newborn hearing screenings, documenting results in the electronic medical record, and reporting data to state databases. You will also manage the logistics of hearing devices, including hearing aids, bone conduction devices, ear molds, and cochlear implants, ensuring all equipment is stocked, maintained, and ready for patient use.
Beyond clinical support, you will handle key administrative functions such as ordering supplies, managing inventory, maintaining spreadsheets, and reconciling accounts payable. You will be the first point of contact for patient and family queries, responding to EPIC messages and aiding communication for the audiologists. This role requires travel to various satellite locations to ensure consistent support across our network.
