About the Role
This position is designed for a lawyer who can effectively advise employers on workplace matters while simultaneously managing complex employment and commercial litigation. You will serve as a strategic partner to clients, handling disputes from initial case assessment through resolution in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies.
Your day-to-day will involve providing practical legal guidance on workplace issues, including policy interpretation and risk management. You will also oversee the drafting and maintenance of employee handbooks and workplace policies to ensure compliance. Beyond employment matters, you will handle commercial litigation involving complex business disputes, drafting persuasive motions, briefs, and pleadings with a high degree of accuracy. The role requires managing discovery activities, conducting legal research, and developing case strategies that align with client objectives, all while maintaining consistent communication with clients and colleagues.
