About the Opportunity
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an Atlassian Expert (Ops & Projects) to support a client based in New York, NY. This is a 6+ month contract role designed for a highly skilled professional with deep hands-on experience across the Atlassian ecosystem. The position focuses on supporting both operational stability and strategic project-based initiatives, requiring a candidate who can drive improvements and deliver scalable solutions with minimal supervision.
The Role
In this hybrid capacity, you will serve as the primary technical authority for the organization's Atlassian environment. You will be responsible for administering core tools including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management (JSM), ensuring they align with business goals. Your day-to-day will involve designing and optimizing complex workflows, managing permissions, and building automation rules to enhance operational efficiency.
Beyond configuration, you will act as a bridge between technical execution and business needs. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Operations and Project teams to gather requirements, develop custom scripts, and manage integrations using APIs and marketplace apps.
