The School of Packaging offers a dynamic environment where students engage with critical topics ranging from hazardous material and chemical packaging to digital print technologies, RFID applications, and returnable packaging systems. This role supports the School's mission by delivering specialized instruction that evolves with industry needs.
The Assistant/Instructor position is a fixed-term appointment designed to fill immediate instructional needs within the School of Packaging. Positions may span one or more semesters and are filled on a course-per-semester basis as required. Renewal is possible based on School needs, funding, and performance.
In this role, you will develop and teach courses in-person or online, depending on the specific program requirements. You will also hold office hours to support student success and effectively utilize the MSU class management platform, D2L. The position is designated as remote-friendly, meaning some or all duties can be performed remotely as mutually agreed upon, reflecting MSU's commitment to a flexible work environment.
