About the Role
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will serve as a vital link between clinical expertise and emotional support. This field-based role takes you directly to families' homes, where you will perform gentle medical assessments and create individualized comfort-care plans for dogs and cats. Your work extends beyond clinical procedures; you will guide pet parents through complex end-of-life decisions with empathy, clear communication, and unwavering support.
You will perform peaceful, low-stress euthanasia using appropriate sedation and pain management techniques, ensuring a dignified goodbye. While you operate independently in the field, you are supported by a remote administrative team that handles scheduling and follow-ups, allowing you to focus entirely on the patient and the family. This position offers a flexible, mission-driven environment for veterinarians passionate about small-animal medicine and grief support.
