WLOS/MY40TV is seeking an Associate Producer to serve as a key creative force in our morning newscasts. In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for editing compelling video and sound, ensuring our morning content resonates with viewers. Beyond the editing suite, you will have opportunities to write and assist the News Producers and Assignment Desk Editor, contributing to the broader editorial mission of the station.
This is a dedicated morning show position scheduled from 2am to 11am. The role demands strong news judgment skills and the ability to operate a teleprompter during live broadcasts. You will also play a vital role in digital engagement by posting stories online and to social media, bridging the gap between traditional broadcast and digital platforms.
Candidates must possess a background in journalism, video production, or mass communications. We are looking for individuals who thrive under tight deadlines and can adapt to all shifts, including weekdays, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
