About the Role

We are seeking Associate, LNG, or Senior LNG Technicians (Operations) to join our team at the Cove Point facility in Lusby, MD. These roles are critical to the daily functioning of our plant, where you will serve as a proficient field operator or control room operator within a multi-disciplined crew.

In this rotational shift environment, you will be responsible for the operation of all plant processes and utilities, including air, water, power, steam generation, and nitrogen systems. You will monitor and manage the loading and unloading of LNG ships, operate Distributed Control System (DCS) consoles, and ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental protocols. The role requires a deep understanding of the physical properties of LNG and the ability to identify relevant equipment to maintain the highest levels of compliance.

The Senior LNG Technician will additionally provide direction to other technicians, lead in resolving plant problems, and work closely with the Shift Supervisor to improve plant reliability and safety. Whether you are analyzing chemistry, interpreting steam piping readings, or conducting site inspections, your actions directly impact the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Hiring Process & Application

Candidates must be prepared to engage in quarterly fire brigade drills and maintain specific certifications, including CPR/First Aid and Respiratory Fit Test. Successful candidates for Associate and Mid-Level positions must score "recommended" on the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) test.
