About the Role

We have an exciting career opportunity for Associate, LNG, or Senior LNG Technicians (Operations) at our Cove Point facility in Lusby, MD. This role is critical to the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import/export and liquefaction/re-gasification terminal.

You will serve as a member of a multi-disciplined crew responsible for plant processes, utilities, and emergency response. Whether operating Distributed Control System (DCS) consoles or managing field operations, you will adhere to strict safety protocols and regulatory mandates. The position involves a rotational shift environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays, requiring dedication to safety and environmental compliance.

In this role, you will monitor the loading and unloading of LNG ships, analyze chemistry, and troubleshoot equipment issues. You will also be an active member of the fire brigade and confined space rescue team, ensuring readiness for emergencies. Success in this position requires the ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including high-heat environments and tight, enclosed spaces, while maintaining valid certifications for CPR, First Aid, and respiratory fit testing.

Hiring Process & Application

Candidates must score "recommended" on the Plant Operator Selection System (POSS) test for Associate and Mid-Level positions. A valid TWIC card or proof of application is required prior to employment.
