About the Role
As an Associate Life and Annuity Marketing Specialist, you will serve as the subject matter expert for Farm Bureau's life and annuity products. Your mission is to bridge the gap between complex product details, tax law implications, and the needs of our agents and staff. You will ensure that sales advice is suitable and compliant while maintaining a deep understanding of life illustrations and application systems.
In this hybrid role based in Lansing, Michigan, you will act as a key representative for the Marketing Division on corporate initiatives. You will work closely with Life Operations on advanced product servicing and pricing, while proactively supporting the Field Force in conserving and placing existing life and annuity business. Your day-to-day involves providing critical sales support to agents and Advanced Planning Specialists, including the creation and assistance with policy planning, illustrations, and reprojections.
You will also play a vital role in the quality assurance of software and systems developed both internally and by third-party vendors, ensuring that the tools used by our sales force are robust and effective.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in marketing, insurance, business, or related field
- verifiedALMI and/or ACS designations
- verifiedMinimum three years' experience in insurance industry
- verifiedStrong computer skills and understanding of software development and quality assurance principals
- verifiedActive State of Michigan insurance license in Life
- verifiedAnnuity Best Interest CE Certification
Nice to Have
Experience in a sales role. Experience with life insurance and annuities sales, sales concepts, and product understanding. Strong project methodology, project management, business analysis, and testing.
