About the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES)
Our mission is to secure a safe and stable climate by accelerating the transition to a thriving, just, and resilient low-carbon economy. C2ES is an independent, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleConduct independent research and analysis on international climate policy issues within the UNFCCC process
- check_circleTrack, monitor, and report on global climate policy developments and key institutions
- check_circleDraft and support production of reports, policy briefs, blogs, web content, and presentations
- check_circleAssist with planning, coordination, and logistics for events, workshops, briefings, and convenings
- check_circleParticipate in webinars, in-person events, and UNFCCC meetings including intersessional sessions
- check_circleContribute to C2ES engagement in UNFCCC negotiations and the Global Climate Action Agenda
- check_circleSupport implementation of the international team's communications strategy and manage publication pipelines
- check_circleSupport stakeholder engagement by building and maintaining relationships with governments and partners
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- verifiedMinimum 2 years familiarity with international climate policy and institutions (UNFCCC, Paris Agreement)
- verifiedStrong knowledge of thematic areas (mitigation, climate finance, adaptation, loss and damage, carbon markets)
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom)
- verifiedFluency in English
