About the Role
Based at the MVW Corporate Office in Orlando, FL, the Associate Director, Global Tax Transformation plays a pivotal role in modernizing and optimizing the Tax Department's operations. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Global Tax Transformation, you will serve as both a Project Manager and a tax technology product owner. In this capacity, you will define functional operational requirements for technology products that support Global Tax operations, while driving the adoption of new tools and platforms to enhance operational efficiencies and ensure compliance.
Your day-to-day involves managing varied projects that encompass everything from detailed planning and timeline management to training development and communications strategy. You will interact with senior Global Tax leaders to design and implement transformation initiatives that make Global Tax a dynamic capability for MVW. This role requires a unique blend of technical tax expertise and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, all while upholding MVW's standards of integrity and excellence.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or similar discipline
- verifiedAdvanced degree in Tax, Accounting, MBA, or Juris Doctorate preferred
- verifiedCPA or PMP/PMI certification preferred
- verifiedAt least eight years of progressive work experience managing projects
- verifiedAt least three years of progressive experience in a global tax role preferred
- verifiedUnderstanding of SOX and GAAP
- verifiedProficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Nice to Have
Advanced degree in Tax, Accounting, MBA, Juris Doctorate, or equivalent. CPA or PMP/PMI certification. At least three years of progressive experience in a global tax role. Experience in a corporate, multi-unit, and/or multi-state/country environment. Experience in a matrix corporate structured organization. Experience in Hotel Management, Vacation Ownership, or Hospitality.
