Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Associate Director of Annual Giving, Direct Marketing for Schools and Units serves as a subject matter expert on the direct marketing industry. This position is dedicated to planning and implementing the overall strategy for annual giving programs for a portfolio of UNC schools and units, with a primary focus on professional schools on campus.
The role is essential to the university's fundraising ecosystem, contributing to and executing pan-Carolina annual giving strategies, including the flagship GiveUNC event. The Associate Director will drive outreach strategies designed to renew, retain, and acquire donors through targeted direct marketing efforts. Additionally, this position provides strategic support and project management on an as-needed basis for additional UNC Schools and Units, ensuring cohesive engagement across the institution.
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that includes a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
