About the Role
The Associate Director, External Data Acquisition Lead (EDAL) serves as the subject matter expert for all external data management activities within our clinical trial teams. This role is designed to provide strategic leadership in the oversight of external clinical data integration processes and data quality from various third-party providers, such as laboratories, eCOA providers, and technology vendors.
In this position, you will be accountable for end-to-end data management activities pertaining to external data, ensuring high-quality, timely, and analysis-ready data aligned with trial objectives. You will act as the primary escalation point for complex vendor issues and represent Data Management in operational committees. Beyond technical oversight, you will support the development and optimization of processes and tools, mentor junior team members, and lead cross-functional initiatives to drive portfolio-level consistency and scalability.
