Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage deal structuring negotiations with borrowers and senior lenders
- check_circleIdentify transaction risks and track exceptions to underwriting criteria
- check_circleDraft and present credit memos to obtain credit approval
- check_circleLead a diverse pipeline of C-PACE projects and prioritize next steps
- check_circleWork with mortgage holders to gain consent for C-PACE financing
- check_circleSupport relationships with developers, brokers, and industry stakeholders
- check_circleCommunicate internally and externally to keep deal teams on track for milestones
- check_circlePrepare term sheets for early-stage deals and assist with presentation materials
- check_circleLeverage third-party market research to support underwriting assumptions
- check_circlePrepare background material and presentations for client meetings
- check_circleCoach and review the work of lower-level professionals
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of 3+ years of commercial real estate construction underwriting experience
- verified5+ years of commercial real estate construction underwriting experience preferred
- verifiedMasters/MBA related to CRE preferred
- verifiedExperience with financial structuring of commercial real estate construction/development projects
Nice to Have
5+ Years of commercial real estate construction underwriting experience; Masters/MBA related to CRE; Demonstrated interest in sustainability and/or clean energy deployment; Experience with financial structuring of commercial real estate construction/development projects.
