WSP is initiating a search for a Bridge Inspection Assistant Team Leader, Structural Engineer to join our exceptional Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in Pennsylvania. This role spans offices in Philadelphia, Exton, Ephrata, Mechanicsburg, and Lawrenceville, NJ.

In this role, you will work with our Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team on a variety of inspection-related projects. You will serve as an Assistant Team Leader on Bridge, Tunnel, and Ancillary Inspections, performing professional structural engineering work and inspections. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of Bridge & Tunnel Load Ratings and supporting the development of plans and sketches using AutoCAD/Microstation.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, planners, and scientific professionals to execute project work on multiple concurrent projects. A key part of your day will involve providing guidance and training to entry-level engineers while supporting a variety of engineering tasks to develop your own technical, social, and ethical skills. You will also assist with project research, field work, preliminary design calculations, and analysis, as well as the preparation of cost proposals and scope of work documents.
