Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage total store operations in the store manager's absence
- check_circleDrive sales by working with department managers to maximize profits and reduce shrink
- check_circleSupervise and coach direct reports on performance and complete performance reviews
- check_circleAnalyze competitive landscape and develop action plans to ensure plan implementation
- check_circlePromote strong relationships with local community organizations and union representatives
- check_circleEnsure store compliance with federal, state, and local laws and enterprise policies
- check_circleAssist store manager in leading teams to plan and execute merchandising initiatives
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma/GED
- verified1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or equivalent experience
- verifiedStore manager/district manager or direct manager approval
Nice to Have
Retail management experience and knowledge of all aspects of store operations. Staff supervisory experience.
