About the Role
Are you passionate about shaping the future of healthcare? Chamberlain University is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant - Assistant Professor to join our new Phoenix Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program. This role offers a unique opportunity to teach in various learning environments while contributing to the development of future healthcare leaders.
As a faculty member, you will implement the College's philosophy and curriculum through engaging classroom, online, and clinical teaching. You will collaborate on didactic and clinical curriculum planning, coordination, and evaluation, serving as a course coordinator or team instructor. Your day will involve providing meaningful feedback to students, supporting their advising and counseling needs, and assisting with remediation. Additionally, you will help manage databases to evaluate student performance and national exam results, participate in the review of the program's mission and academic policies, and contribute to the admissions process.
Program Context: Phoenix Campus
The Chamberlain University-Phoenix, AZ, campus has applied for Accreditation - Provisional from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The campus anticipates matriculating its first class in September 2026, pending achieving Accreditation - Provisional status at the March 2026 ARC-PA meeting. Accreditation - Provisional is granted when the plans and resource allocation of a proposed program appear to demonstrate the program's ability to meet the ARC-PA Standards or when a program holding this status demonstrates continued progress in complying with the Standards as it prepares for the graduation of its first class.
