The University of Utah Department of Dermatology is seeking an outstanding allergy/immunology physician on the clinical track to join a robust practice comprising five allergists and over 40 dermatologists. You will join a full-service outpatient A/I clinic offering spirometry, skin testing, sinus endoscopy, immunotherapy, and drug desensitization. Our clinic holds the distinction of being the first academic center in the nation to offer oral immunotherapy for food allergy outside of a research setting. The role provides a supportive, well-developed dermatology infrastructure that allows for innovation, superb patient-centered service, research, and professional growth.\n The ideal candidate will have trained at a leading A/I institution and possess outstanding references. Comfort with seeing both children and adults is preferred, as the position involves providing outstanding clinical care to a diverse patient population. Clinics will be located primarily at the Farmington Health Center.
The team is actively involved in clinical trials and NIH-funded research. Current programs include initiatives for asthmatic children on the Navajo Nation and the development of novel methods for detecting Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE). With two to three medical assistants per physician, the practice ensures tremendous clinical efficiency.
