The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Utah, John A. We are actively seeking a vitreoretinal clinician-scientist to establish an independent clinical and translational research program focused on inherited and acquired diseases of the macula and retina. This full-time, tenure-track faculty position is split approximately 50% research and 50% clinical practice.
In this role, you will partner with the department to advance the understanding of retinal and macular diseases, leveraging a strong background in advanced imaging modalities. A key component of the position involves teaching and training residents and fellows in both the clinic and the operating room. The ideal candidate will bring a strong peer-reviewed publication track record and a commitment to fostering an inclusive academic environment.
