The Assistant Principal at Conant High School serves as a vital partner to the Principal, dedicated to advancing student academic achievement and growth. This 12-month leadership position focuses on building data-driven systems that address attendance, behavior, and academic performance. The role is central to strengthening instructional leadership, enhancing staff effectiveness, and ensuring safe, efficient school operations that promote equitable outcomes for all students.
In this capacity, you will act as a facilitator for the school's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams, overseeing Tier II and Tier III interventions. You will collaborate closely with department chairs to support instructional leadership and serve as a key point of contact for safety operations, including the planning and execution of safety drills. Additionally, the role involves supervising after-school extracurricular events and conducting evaluations for licensed and support staff, ensuring a supportive and high-performing school environment.
