About the Role
The 2nd Shift Assistant Operations Manager serves as a critical leader for our Packing - Warehouse 2 Operations department in Ephrata, PA. Reporting directly to the Packing Operations Manager, this position oversees and coordinates daily operations across High Pressure Processing (HPP), Packing, and Warehouse functions during the second shift (Monday through Friday, with hours varying based on operational needs).
This role is designed to provide leadership and operational support that ensures production goals, food safety standards, quality expectations, and customer requirements are met safely and efficiently. You will act as a bridge between Production, Warehouse, Quality Control, Transportation, Maintenance, and Food Safety teams, ensuring smooth communication and execution. The position combines leadership, production management, and continuous improvement responsibilities to drive high performance and operational excellence throughout the facility.
