The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for the Operating Room is a professional Registered Nurse reporting to the unit director/manager. This role utilizes the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within the assigned shift, supporting the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating unit services.
You will lead, train, and inspire within one of Oregon’s top surgical programs. As a Nurse Educator, onboarding leader, and manager for assigned OR service lines, you will provide managerial presence for all shifts. Your focus will be on managing clinical and non-clinical caregivers, coaching, mentoring, and collaborating to deliver quality health care. You will ensure compliance with professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies while providing input for performance evaluations.
