The Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the General Manager to ensure the club operates as a financially successful hub while delivering an exceptional "Judgment Free" experience for both members and staff. This position is about more than just oversight; it is about leading a team of employees in a positive, motivating manner and driving continuous training and development.
In this role, you will be the face of the club, creating and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective guests, and team members. You will be deeply involved in front desk activities, from answering phones and checking members into the system to conducting tours and resolving member requests. Your day will involve ensuring the prompt opening and closing of the gym, overseeing facility cleanliness and safety, and managing marketing efforts to ensure the team is trained on all promotions. You will also handle operational essentials such as authorizing expenditures, making bank deposits, and tracking key statistics.
