About the Role
Ontario Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to provide essential clinical leadership within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. This role is designed to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring that our nursing units deliver high-quality, resident-centered care while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
As a compassionate RN, you will serve as a vital link between clinical staff, administration, and the interdisciplinary team. Your day-to-day impact will be felt through mentoring nursing staff, overseeing care plans, and driving quality improvement initiatives. You will foster a culture of safety, integrity, and teamwork, ensuring that every resident receives dignity and respect in both long-term and short-term care settings.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- verifiedCurrent, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- verifiedBLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- verifiedInfection Control training per NY regulations
Nice to Have
ACLS certification. Prior long-term care or subacute/rehab experience. Leadership or management training in nursing (e.g., nurse leadership courses).
